Everybody’s got their favorite mallet — the one they reach for when warming up or reading through new literature. The difference is that we asked these artists to design their Go2 mallet — from the core out. Take a look at Andy Harnsberger’s (Associate Professor of Percussion, Lee University) Go2 mallet. Andy Harnsberger’s design offers something new in graduated marimba mallet sets: a slightly graduated set of four that sounds great all over the instrument. There is just enough difference between them to take out the harshness in the bottom octave of the instrument, but still have sufficient pop in the top octave.
