Gretsch proudly introduces the 5x14” Vinnie Colaiuta Signature Snare Drum. Mr. Colaiuta was in search of a versatile snare drum to thrive both in the studio and for live settings. After extensive prototyping and thorough evaluation, he chose a snare drum with body, sensitivity, and extensive dynamic range. Just the right characteristics he needs from a wood snare drum. Vinnie specifically chose “Cobalt Blue” to compliment his Gretsch USA Custom kit that was used throughout the Sting & Peter Gabriel “Rock, Paper, Scissors” World Tour.
