Gretsch's Lightning Throw off is the more recognized and requested snare strainer available on USA factory snare drums. Originally designed in 1967, it has seen a couple changes since it's introduction.
It's distinctive smooth handle and engraved logo make for a very recognizable throw off to the Gretsch gurus and while it's available on any wood USA snare drum, you will notice it's also found on most metal snare drums as well.
