Tama's drums of 3mm thick bell brass, featuring the same musical metal used in drum cymbals, have been must-have snare drums for many Tama artists. The reason for that isn't the price: bell brass snare drums are not cheap. But according to Tama Communications, "Only bell brass offers nuanced sensitivity with skull-splitting volume and penetration."
